Printing Strand
Our children learn a range of printing techniques such as Block Printing, Screen Printing and Linocut Printing. They find out about the history of painting and its uses in everyday life today.
They learn about famous and not-so-famous artists who have used printing as their means of artistic expression, such as Katsushika Hokusai, Elizabeth Catlett, Eric Gaskell Roy Lichtenstein, and Corita Kent (known as 'The Pop Art Nun'!)
