Art & Design
Our Art and Design curriculum has been written to include a range of artistic styles: impressionism, dadaism, abstract, renaissance and more. It also includes artists from around the world both past and present, male and female, famous and less well-known. This ensures that our relentless focus on diversity and inclusion is continued.
Drawing and painting skills have been carefully mapped to ensure progression from EYFS up to Y6 as have textile, sculpture, and printing elements.
The art elements of colour, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value are also progressive throughout the units.
