Special Worships
2022-2023
Year 3 - Rememberance Day
Harvest Service in Church
The uniformed groups and many of our school children presented a Harvest Service at St. Francis Church in October. The children shared their understanding of what Harvest means to them as well as how they need to share what they have with others.
Queen Elizabeth II
Following the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II, we held a special worship to celebrate her life and her dedicated, faithful service. We reflected on the importance of her Christian faith throughout her reign as Queen. We gave thanks to God for her majesty and her devotion.
"May flights of angels sing you to your rest"
As part of our commitment towards nurturing children who lead life in all its fullness, our school year includes opportunities for each class to lead a special worship. Special worships contribute towards the development of children's confidence, public speaking skills, knowledge of faith and wordly events and promote their self-esteem and self-worth. Special worship also allows children to develop spiritually as they consider life's Big Questions and God's amazing creation.
Below are the planned Special Worships for the academic year 2022-2023:
2021-2022
Over the course of last academic year, we allocated a special event in the calendar to each class. Each class completed a special worship for the school to view. We had to adapt in these strange times and therefore, our special worships were recorded so everyone could see and hear all the different classes.
